Eric Wammock, USPTA and founder of Hilton Head Island Tennis, has more than 30 years experience in the tennis industry. Prior to forming HHIT he served as the Head Tennis Professional and Club Manager at the top ranked Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, where he worked for nearly 17 years. Eric has worked extensively with all age levels and abilities during his professional career, from giving countless people their very first tennis lesson to coaching nationally ranked players. In addition to being a USPTA South Carolina Pro of the Year, Eric has served on the USPTA's National Education Committee and has a specialist degree in Facility Management, having helped develop the program's curriculum.

As a player, Eric was a college all-American and ITF Satellite Tour player. Eric has played exhibitions and tournament tennis with Stan Smith, Tom Gullikson, Brian Gottfried, Johann Kriek, Mikael Pernfors and many more.

Eric's wife of 27 years, Sheri, is the mother of their 3 beautiful daughters Erica, Samantha and Alex.

Edward "Woody" Wood, Head Tennis Professional, USPTA, is the key member of the tennis staff at Hilton Head Island Beach and Tennis Resort, with over 35 years experience in the tennis industry. Woody arrived on HHI in 1979 where he worked for 3 years at the Resident Professional at the Van der Meer Tennis Center. In that period he helped conduct over 30 Tennis Universities; teaching aspiring young professionals all aspects of the game. Woody was also responsible for the resort programs at Van der Meer, and helped famed sports psychologist Jim Loehr .

Over the next 25 years Woody held the Director of Tennis jobs at the Shipyard Racquet Club and the Sea Pines Country Club. Woody was responsible for every aspect of tennis at these two prestigious clubs. Woody has participated in clinics and exhibitions with dozens touring professionals that include Stan Smith, Tony Trabert, Tracy Austin and Vic Seixas. Throughout his career he has organized multiple tournaments, from nationally televised events to the and club level.

Woody is one of the co-founders of the Har-Tru Clay Court Maintenance Seminar (1989). He has been a member of the USPTA since 1991 and in 2004 he received the 25 year service award from the Professional Tennis Registry.

Woody is married to Debbie for 30 years and has three children: Alexandra, Sean and Sarah.

Jennifer Friend-Kerr is a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional with 30 years of teaching experience. Jen worked with Director of Tennis, Eric Wammock, at the Sea Pines Racquet Club in the early 90's as a key staff member that helped earn the Resort a #1 national ranking by Tennis Magazine. A solid player in her own right, Jen was an All-American at Guilford College, and in 2006 was elected to the Guilford College Athletic Hall of Fame. Jen has been married to Marty for 27 years and has 3 children: Wes (Davidson College), and twins Holly and Liliy. Jen shares her experience at Hilton Head Island Tennis during the summer months.

Cameron Clark, a native of Hilton Head Island, Cameron is a solid player and teacher having played scholarship tennis at Coker College before setting his sights on the University of South Carolina this fall. A former student at HHIT and standout for the Hilton Head Christian Academy, Cameron brings his firm grasp of fundamentals and training techniques to the Resort in the summer time, and is a key member of the staff focusing on Junior Development and Private Lessons with adults and juniors alike.

Cameron Kriscunas, a Hilton Head Island native, plays collegiate tennis at Ole Miss. She was formerly the number one ranked female in South Carolina juniors and the 61st player nationally on Cameron fared well in Intertnational Tennis Fedration events, reaching the seminfinals in doubles in Puerto Rico and a quarterfinals in the states, as well as reaching the top 8 at the US National Clay Courts. Cameron is majoring in Dietetics and Nutrition and is a key member of our junior development program.

Mark Watt is a native of Glasgow, Scotland, and plays collegaite tennis for Coker College. The rising senior had the most wins on the team last year for the Cobras and has been named All Conference for two seasons. Mark has notched 57 wins in college in three years and has only lost very few doubles matches. Watt is majoring in Business and his focus at Hilton Head Island Tennis will be junior development.

Jeff de Vincentis is a Professional Tennis Registry certified pro with an enthusiastic, highly motivational approach to teaching, whether it be tennis or golf - he is also a certfied PGA of America golf professional. Jeff is a solid player with a unique thirst for the intricacies of the sport. He is primarily assisting in junior development and also teaches private lessons.
